I just listened to podcast episode #348 by Amy Porterfield. It's titled "How to Create *True* Wealth As an Entrepreneur: An Exclusive Coaching Session with Patrice Washington." In this episode, a financial coach explains her 6 pillars to wealth. These are the areas of your life that need to be in order before you can become wealthy:
Fit (mentally and physically)
People (quality over quantity)
Space
Faith (doesn't matter what yours is, but make time for it)
Work (do what gives you purpose)
Money (have the right mindset, then implement strategies)
Click here to can find out more about the 6 Pillars of Wealth or listen to the episode on Google Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.
What she said specifically about space, was that if you have a cluttered, ugly space, you are not going to be able to work well, get creative, or be efficient.
She suggests asking questions like, "Would a award winning author work in a space like this?" and "Is this the space of a CEO?" If not, how can you become the person you want to be in a space like this?
You don't have to move to Beverly Hills for your space to be good enough to make you great, but it does to make you happy and be organized.
Your space can either distract, limit, and hinder you or it can help, empower, and improve you. It just takes putting in the work to get rid of the clutter and making it look how you want it to. Becoming personally and financially wealthy is dependent on the quality of your space.
Comment below which of the 6 pillars is your strongest area and your weakest area.
My strongest area is work (I am doing something that really fills me up and it helps others) and my weakest area is fit (I struggle to stay active physically and be confident mentally).
